Gifts should know their place during the holidays, and those that don't know their place should be shown.
The time before Christmas is all about the gifts and there is no avoiding them. The way to get rid of gifts is to place them under the Christmas tree, where they will quietly wait for their recipient.
We did this, but as usual - in our own way. We placed them elegantly one by one, right where they belong.
