Lottery of the ancient times

Latvijas Loto is a state-owned joint-stock company. This means that part of the money goes to the winners, part remains for the maintenance of the company, and part of the money is good for Latvia!

The Ancient Lottery is the latest product of Latvijas Loto, created by the initiative of the Ministry of Finance and Culture. It takes care of the preservation of a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is important for Latvia – the Riga Dome Church and Monastery Ensemble. The proceeds from the Ancient Lottery will be directed to the restoration and preservation of the heart of Old Riga. For us, it is just a lottery ticket (and a chance to win one MILLION euros!), but for future generations it is an entrance ticket to the Riga Dome.
