When you're a leader, it's only tempting for others to try to overtake you. If they can't achieve it in a fair way, they try to copy you :)
There is a constant price competition between traders, the retailer Maxima is okay with that, the same game conditions for everyone, let the strongest win, but that is as long as the game is fair, when someone starts comparing the prices of original products with fakes - the blood starts to boil :)
Maxima had to re-emphasise its price leadership in the prices of original products, thus protecting the public from being deceived by other traders. Now we can sleep peacefully again, knowing who is who.
